Alamitos Bay Garden Club
Established in 1938, the Alamitos Bay Garden Club is a non-profit volunteer organization focused on beautification, civic improvement and advancement of the cultural and philanthropic interests of the Peninsula. Membership invitations are extended to interested residents who have resided on the Peninsula for at least one year.

Alamitos Bay Yacht Club
Established in 1926, the Alamitos Bay Yacht Club provides a family atmosphere for its members, who are committed to excellence in sailboat racing and the enjoyment of sailing in all its phases. The Club’s members regularly host national, regional, and world championship regattas, as well as maintaining a diverse cruising schedule. An active junior program works to instill a love of sailing, as well as racing skills, in all of its participants.

United States Sailing Center - Long Beach
Once envisioned solely as a training site to help sailors fulfill their Olympic dreams, the United Sttates Sailing Center at Long Beach has developed into a true center of training for sailors of every ability.
But the Sailing Center does much more than just train sailors. Programs include Youth At-Risk activities through local help groups, Learn-to-Sail classes for all ages and disabled sailing opportunities through the Sailing Center's own Disabled Sailing Association.
Located on the Alamitos Bay Peninsula in Long Beach, the Sailing Center offers a wide range of facilities and boats for its programs.
